Farwell to Volunteers and Staff E-mail

As we ended 2008/9 financial year, we sadly said farewell to a few valuable staff and volunteers in the organisation.

Retiring volunteers:

TCF Retiring VolunteersLydia Thusi, Staff Mthembu and Maureen Ngcobo are some of the longest serving volunteers whom have been the backbone of Thandanani in their respective communities. They recently reached the Thandanani "volunteer retiring age" and therefore they have passed on the 'baton' to other volunteers as they have done their 'leg' in serving their communities through Thandanani. We wish them a happy retirement.

Volunteers:

Marie SahreLungile NdlovuMarie Sahre from Germany came into Thandanani for a year on voluntary basis. She worked in the Richmond as part of Thandanani's welfare team member.

Lungi Ndlovu and Nosipho Dlamini from Elandskop have been with Thandanani through a learnership offered by Greater Edendale Development Initiative (GEDI). They are doing community development at Corporate College International (CCI). They have been with Thandanani Since July 2008.
